Himalayan Blue Poppy
Year 2026
Natural Ink (red cabbage, onion skins, coffee and charcoal) on 100% cotton paper
Himalayan Blue Poppy painting is inspired by one of the world’s most rare and fragile alpine flowers. Native to high-altitude regions, the Blue Poppy is admired for its striking colour and delicate structure, but remains vulnerable to environmental change and shifting climate conditions.
Care Note: Due to the use of natural ink, this artwork is sensitive to light exposure. Please keep it away from direct sunlight or strong artificial light, as prolonged exposure may gradually alter the tones of the pigments. This evolving quality is part of the nature of the materials used and should be preserved through careful display.
